We confirm it's Kitec

Inspectors mis-flag it. We verify the pipe and fittings before a word about repiping.

Urgent, or can it wait

We read the fittings and your situation, then tell you straight. Sometimes the answer is wait.

Copper or PEX-A, both

Two real numbers on your home, quoted straight - not a single take-it-or-leave-it figure.

We do one thing. Kitec. We evaluate it and we repipe it, and that’s the whole business. We’re not a general plumbing company that also handles Kitec on the side. If your water heater dies or a faucet drips, call a general plumber. If an inspector wrote Kitec on your report, that’s us.

Why one niche only

Kitec is its own problem with its own rules. The failure mode is specific, the recall and the expired settlement have their own history, and the repipe has a right way and a cheap way. A plumber who does a Kitec job once a quarter treats it like any other repipe. We look at these systems constantly, so we can tell you fast whether your fittings are close to failing or whether you have time. That focus is the whole point.

The homes we work on

Kitec went into Las Vegas Valley homes roughly between 1995 and 2007, mostly the master-planned communities that were going up fast in those years. Summerlin, Henderson, the northwest, the southwest. Orange lines for hot, blue for cold, brass fittings crimped on. If your home was built in that window and you’ve never repiped, there’s a real chance it’s in your walls. We know this cohort because it’s all we work on.

How we operate

Two rules we don’t bend. First, we confirm it’s actually Kitec before we quote anything. Inspectors mislabel pipe all the time, and we’re not going to sell you a repipe you don’t need. If it turns out to be standard PEX or copper, we tell you and you owe us nothing. Second, we quote copper and PEX-A both, on your specific home, and we explain where the money goes. You get two real numbers, not a single take-it-or-leave-it figure.

We’re licensed and insured for plumbing in Nevada, and we pull the county permit on every repipe. It runs about sixty dollars and it means the work is inspected. Skipping the permit is one of the corners cheap quotes cut, and it comes back to bite you at resale.

We’re a newer company and we’ll say that plainly rather than invent a founding year or a job count we don’t have. What we bring is a narrow focus and straight answers. Send us your inspection report and we’ll tell you whether that Kitec flag is urgent or whether it can wait. That’s how most people start.
